Producing high quality arrival times for the world to explore.
The MPTA produces regular releases of precision timing data for open scientific use. The original data and data products are hosted on the pulsar data portal supported by the Australian Gravitational Wave Data Centre and the Astronomy Data and Computing Services. The pulsar data, recorded in fold-mode with the MeerKAT PTUSE backend (Bailes et al. 2020), are initially processed using the MeerPipe pipeline (e.g. removing the effects of radio-frequency interference and producing initial timing products). The pulsar portal hosts raw and processed folded data (at a variety of time and frequency resolutions), along with MeerPipe timing products and data visualisations. The non-embargoed data is publicly accessible.
The first major data release from the MPTA comprised 2.5 years of observations of 78 pulsars. The data release can be found here.
The first major data release from the MPTA comprised 4.5 years of observations of 83 pulsars. The data release can be found here.
